We’ve been so freaking busy and dealing with so much that I wasn’t sure if we were going to make it this year, (tomorrow is the last day). Today I feel great.. things are starting to fall into place and I’m almost caught up on my etsy stuff. I need the money so it’s going to be nice to be caught up and able to keep my routine in check when I open my shop up again. Ashton LOVES going to the stock show.. every year he forgets what it’s about. On the way there he wasn’t sure what to expect. I told him it’s like the fair and he immediately lit up! I don’t think I will have to remind him next year.. love this memory stuff! We watched a rabbit judging, (Very interesting. They actually have the rabbits walk and hop along this beam thing) walked around and looked at the cattle/pigs.. it always amazes me how these beautiful clean creatures are kept by children/teens! I wish we lived on a farm so Ashton could experience something like that. I was in 4-H growing up and loved it.. Maybe someday he will too! AND OF COURSE he rode a ton of rides! We were starving towards the end and we couldn’t leave without eating a caramel apple.. Ashton insisted he wanted the “Red” apple.. Red is after all his favorite color.. when he told me that for his birthday questionnaire I assumed he pulled it out of thin air but now that he said that he really does pick EVERYTHING red! funny. He’s never had a candy apple. Needless to say it was a, (very messy) HIT. When you think about it candy apples are actually the best junk food a carnival could have.. it has to be better than funnel cakes and/or cotton candy lol.. My mom still gives me the stink-eye when I get one for myself. We had fun! Would have been even better if Daddy could have come with us and gone to the Rodeo…. ::sigh:: there is always next year!

Love looking at all those moments in time? Funny boy with shorts boots and long sleeves.lol
He was wearing a short sleeve shirt and at lunch with david he got it dirty with ice cream so we changed it and that’s what i had on hand at the time lol. it was a warm but windy day where the breeze was a bit cool, (especially in the shade) but if there was no wind it could get quite warm.. the boots were actually his idea but in the end from now on he will always wear his boots to the stock show! ANIMAL POOP AND PEE EVERYWHERE! lol. i didn’t have to worry about him stepping in it and they are easy to clean etc.
