Choo Choo! Make way for the Train Parade… Day 19

What a beautiful day! FINALLY a good day! I got work done. We got out of the house so Ashton could enjoy something fun with other kids.. The weather was warm enough to wear short sleeves and not a jacket. Still a lot to catch up on and STILL a lot to deal with but I’m just so happy it was a day that I didn’t want to crawl into bed and hide. The train parade was just as cute as I knew it would be. 23 kids total! that’s a LONG train! Kids had to draw numbers for their spot in the line. Ashton pulled #2. They told stories before the train parade started and more train stories when it was over. Ashton LOVES story time. We haven’t gone in awhile since we have been going to the library on Saturdays instead of Tuesday or Thursday mornings. I know I’ve said it before but I will say it again. I….LOVE…OUR….LIBRARY! I just wish it hadn’t been today. Today was the Western Parade in downtown Fort Worth to kick off our Stock Show. Looked like a lot of fun. Hopefully next year it won’t be on the same day!
